I had never heard of this before I found this blog, but I am truly inspired by this woman. She makes these amazing childrens’ wears only to give them away!! I emailed my mother once I found her site. What generosity!!

Author Joseph Chilton Pearce has said, “…all children want to do is learn, which they try to do through their greatest learning tool, play.”
Playgroups…as of yet I have not found any playgroups in our area that are Waldorf inspired, natural parenting inspired, or connected parenting inspired. I have been living in the Lower Columbia area now going on two years, and have not come across anything of the sort. I really have a need for a peer group, as does my daughter. I love the saying, “if you build it, they will come”, thus I am starting a weekly play group in my area. “Picnics at the Park”, will be our playgroup at one of the areas parks during the summer months.
I would love to have this evolve into play groups at my house as well. I feel children need to play outside as much as possible, but during the off months in our area, it would be wonderful to have some inside play. So once I get things going outside, I will propose to have play times at our house too.
